Forest
The Northern Highland American Legion State Forest
encompasses more than 220,000 acres in parts
of Vilas, Oneida and Iron Counties. The area's rich land and water
resources support many plants and animals, including rare and endangered
species like the wood turtle, bald eagle and Cooper's hawk. Home
